Prayer life

Prayer Life is an essential element of Our Lady’s School of Evangelisation-Knock. It is the number one pillar that supports the spiritual journey of students and staff.

Prayer is presented as an essential life-giving encounter with the living God, and the sacraments and the Word of God have a special emphasis throughout the academic year.

We are very fortunate to be located literally next door to the National Marian Shrine of Knock and students participate actively in the life of the Church in the Parish as well. Students attend daily Mass at the Knock Shrine. They have access to pastoral support, spiritual direction and Sacrament of the Reconciliation.

In the School we have Oratory with Blessed Sacrament where students participate in the Liturgy of the Hours, Lectio divina, personal prayer, Adoration, Rosary. Praise and Worship sessions. Students take part in a week Spiritual Exercises according to St. Ignatius of Loyola.
