We have also recently hosted Art and Music retreats all aimed and renewing the faith amongst young people in Ireland and encouraging them to use their gifts an talents for the Glory of the Lord. We run a weekly scripture course and a weekly prayer meeting. We have recently established a Legion of Mary Presidium aimed at encouraging young people to become involved in apostolic work and local and parish level. From next academic year we will offer Year Distance Learning Diploma Course In New Evangelisation and Youth Ministry by Maryvale Institute. |
Since our first year we have outreached to over 5,000 young people, travelling all around the country to give retreats in schools and parishes. We have also helped organise many of the national youth festivals, including Knock Youth Festival, Clonmacnoise Summer Festival and Creideamh Street Festival.
