Our charity shop

FR BENNY McHale performed the official blessing at the opening of the OLSE retail store at the Riverside Walk in Ballyhaunis on the 1st May 2010. The new store has been a hive of activity in the first days of trading with bargain hunters keeping store manager, Tracy Stein very busy indeed.

The retail store, operating under the auspices of Our Lady’s School of Evangelisation, Knock, carries a good stock of best quality second hand ladies and gents clothes, books, DVD’s, CD’s, toys and brick a brack; a little bit of everything really. All funds raised through the store will go towards the Knock based school.

If you happen to be doing a spot of Spring cleaning and come across some items which you think may be suitable for resale at the shop, Tracy would be delighted to hear from you.

A native of Portmarnock, Dublin Tracy Stein was among the first batch of students to study at Our Lady’s School of Evangelisation, five years ago. A former air hostess with Aer Lingus, Tracy now plies her trade promoting the school of evangelization, alongside board of management members, Eleanor Healy from Tooreen, Fr. Benny McHale, CC., Ballyhaunis and Johnny McCarthy from Ballintubber, Ania Marek School Co-ordiantor.

All good quality ladies, gents and children’s clothing will be more than welcome; also bric-a-brac, books, paintings, toys or other items suitable for resale will be gratefully accepted at the store.
