OLSE more than a School…As Our Lady’s school of Evangelisation is residential, students live together for nine months. This type of school is the first of its kind in Ireland. It has as its backbone the residential aspect of living in community, which enables the young adults to adopt various skills and responsibilities, which they may never attain in a non-residential academic environment.
For those unsure what to do after the Leaving Cert or graduating from college and thinking of taking a gap year? Or maybe you are considering a career break? If you are aged 18 to 35, why not get in touch with OLSE and see if our specially designed programme is for you? The 4 Pillars of O.L.S.E 1. Prayer Life. Daily prayer routine, which includes Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, Adoration, Rosary and Lectio Divina. The aim of the prayer life is to allow for the growth of the students personal relationship with Jesus and adopt Christianity as a lifestyle. 2. Academic Studies: Foundations in Theology, Scripture, Sacraments and Liturgy, Christology, Church History, Morality and Ethics and training in Catholic Evangelisation. 3. The Community Life: Living together like a family, cooking, chores, sports and outings which help develop character formation and learning to be of service to others. 4. Outreach to young people in Secondary Schools, Universities and Parishes
